Application for Ballot By Mail

The County Clerk will be accepting applications for ballot by mail for elections in 2018, beginning January 1, 2018.

Upcoming Election: March 6, 2018, Joint Democratic and Republican Primary Election.

The last day the County Clerk can accept applications for ballot by mail for this election is Friday, February 23, 2018, by 5:00 p.m.

*Voters 65 years of age or older and voters with a disability may submit an Annual Application, January 1st, of each year. These Annual Applications remain active, and entitle the voter to a ballot for every election the voter qualifies for, in that calendar year.

All  applications for Ballot By Mail must be submitted by one of the following methods to the County Clerk. (see **note on returning by fax or email)

**An applicant submitting an application for ballot by mail via fax or e-mail to also submit an application for ballot by mail via mail. In order for the fax or e-mail application for ballot by mail to be effective, the accompanying mailed application for ballot by mail must be received within 4 days of the submission of the application by fax or e-mail.

4. EMAIL: a scanned application containing an original signature to: countyclerk@co.jefferson.tx.us

Early Voting begins Tuesday, February 20, 2018, and ends Friday, March 2, 2018

The last day to receive Ballots by Mail is Election Day, March 6, 2018, by 7:00 p.m.
